Here’s a short video guide to finding movies with captions.
Using Filters and Search
Finding captioned movies quickly is easy – narrow down the list of movie sessions by using the filter and search features of our website. This is important because there can be thousands of movie sessions listed in the table, so it needs to be easy for you to find what you are after.
Movie sessions are listed in the table in this order: Date (soonest first); State; Cinema Name.
Filters
Click on the State you are interested in, and the movie sessions list will show only for your selected State. You can use the Cinema Name dropdown to select one or more cinemas, and movie sessions will show only for those cinemas. The same applies for Date (one or multiple), and Movie Name (one or multiple).
Note that all the filters are additive – if you select one State and one Date for example, both filters are applied and you will see movie sessions for that Date in that State.
By default the movie sessions list shows both Open Captions and English Subtitles movie sessions. By clicking Open Captions, you will see only the Open Captions movie sessions listed.
Search
The “Search Movie or Cinema Name” box is a shortcut that allows you to simply type the name of the Movie or Cinema, and only movie sessions that match what you have typed will be listed.
For example if you type “vict” in the search box, any movies that contain “vict” and any cinema names that contain “vict” will be shown.
Clear All Filters and Search
Click the blue box at the right side of the “Search Movie or Cinema Name” box to clear all filters and search settings.
